Semantic Layer
Eden's semantic layer turns infrastructure metadata into compact, governed context for operators, applications, LLMs, and agents. It discovers schemas, entities, attributes, relationships, lineage, and operational signals without requiring teams to move their source data into a new system first.

How it works
Endpoint collectors gather metadata using the access available to the current identity. Eden curates that metadata into a catalog, builds retrieval documents, and assembles a scoped brief only when an operator, application, model, or agent requests context.
The semantic layer does not grant access to underlying data. Endpoint policy, role-based access, and database permissions remain authoritative.
Availability
The semantic layer is feature-gated and disabled by default. Deployments must enable both the compile-time feature and runtime configuration before collection or retrieval begins.
