Bring Your Own Databases & APIs
Connect your existing databases, LLMs, and APIs. You only pay for Eden hosting and compute.
We don't mark up your infrastructure. Eden charges for the proxy layer, not the backends you connect.
Zero-Downtime Migrations
Database migrations are priced separately based on data volume, complexity, and migration strategy. Includes 9+ strategies from canary to strangler fig, with automated rollback and real-time monitoring.
Common Questions
How is data I/O measured?
Data In is the bytes sent to Eden (queries, writes, API requests). Data Out is the bytes Eden returns (query results, responses). Both are metered separately per month.
How are AI tokens measured?
Tokens In is your prompt and context sent to the LLM. Tokens Out is the model's response. Both are metered separately, following each provider's tokenization.
What happens if I exceed my tier?
You'll receive a notification at 80% and 100% usage. Overages are billed at the next tier's per-unit rate. No service interruption.
Can I switch between Starter and Business?
Yes. Upgrade from Starter to Business anytime to move to dedicated infrastructure. We handle the migration with zero downtime.
What's the difference between managed and self-hosted?
Managed plans run on Eden's cloud infrastructure — we handle scaling, updates, and operations. Self-hosted means you deploy Eden on your own servers, VPC, or air-gapped environment.
Do I need to pay for the databases I connect?
No. Eden only charges for the proxy and compute layer. Your database costs (AWS RDS, self-hosted, etc.) are separate and billed directly by your provider.
